PELIN’s has been developing pellet injectors for plasma fuelling since 1997. PELIN’s is the first company in the world who developed a technology of permanent extrusion of solid thermonuclear fuel. Unique pellet injectors were developed on the base of this technology and the following acting fusion devices were equipped with PELIN’s injectors:
  • The largest tokamak in the world - JET(England - 2010);
  • The TORE-SUPRA tokamak with superconducting coils (France - 2004);
  • The largest stellarator in the world - LHD (Japan - 2003).
PELIN’s pellet injectors were installed on tokamaks HL-2A and EAST (China - 2008-2010), T-10 (Russia - 2004) and on the Tri Alpha Energy device (USA- 2010) also.
PELIN’s developed the first in the world tracer-encapsulated solid hydrogen pellet injector (TECPEL) which is able to inject into plasma a carbor micropellet surrounded with a solid hydrogen shell. TECPEL injector was installed on the LHD stellarator (Japan-2005).
PELIN’s developed a generator of solid hydrogen foils with thickness 30-200 microns and width 3-10 mm as a target for heavy ions and laser irradiation for Commissariat of Atomic Energy (France - 2008-2012).
PELIN’s developed electromagnetic valves and a special vacuum fast gate valve.
