PELIN Electromagnetic Valves

PELIN has been developing electromagnetic valves for fast gas emission since 1997.

A distinctive feature of the PELINТs valves is 1 ms interval of opening/closing time.

Gas release can be adjusted remotely from 3 to 1000 mbar*Litr per shot. Working pressure interval is 0-150 bar.

The valves can be used in high vacuum facilities (leak rate <10^-10 Pa m3/s).

Valves are equipped with power supplies produced by PELIN also.

Valves can be triggered remotely by PLC and operate in a single or repetitive mode up to 30Hz.

Inlet/outlet fittings can be fabricated in accordance with customer request (typically VCR connectors).

PELIN Electromagnetic Fast Gate Valves

A special vacuum gate valve can be developed by PELIN in accordance with customer request.

One of example is presented on photo below. It is a gate valve for TESPEL pellet injector installed at LHD stellarator in Japan.

The gate valve is opened just 1 s before a pellet injection through the valve duct of 5.5 mm diameter and it is closed within 6 ms after the shot.

The propellant gas is separated from the vacuum line connected to the stellarator.

The gate valve has open/close indicator for convenient operation.

Leak rate from environment into vacuum space is <10^-10 Pa m3/s.
